- Received this from RetroLicker today. A great addition to my collection.
- This was the hardest part of my perma death playthrough lol. It's funny cause the first time I played I didn't die once. But this time, where death had consequence it was so nerve wracking. I fell 4 times. Playing this game on permadeath is really one of the best experiences I ever had in gaming.
- Space Needle
- Safe to say it’s my new favourite tote bag :)
- I’VE DONE IT!! Finally unlocked the permadeath trophy in Last of Us part 2! Although it wasn’t a “true permadeath” as I chose the per chapter option, it was still a challenge! I still need to try out Grounded mode and eventually get the trophy for that but I think I might give it a year before that
- [SPOILERS] (TLOU1&2) Won’t lie; I played The Second before I played the first.
- This was my second tattoo hope u like as much as i do
- I’m actually really excited about the idea of TLOU getting remade with modern technology and I think the industry should embrace more remakes when hardware introduces new and exciting qualities
- Pics of "Dawn of the Wolf" & "Curtis and Viper 2" movie posters from the games, on the show set
- Skinny Abby from now on?
- Why The Last of Us has the best opening ever, of all time, and why this will make the TV show legendary:

Why was the GFR post deleted? It needs to be brought to attention. Posted: 24 Jul 2021 09:58 AM PDT I don't get why that post was deleted from this subreddit. If anything we should be supporting GFR and bringing attention to the issue of a toxic community that actively seeks out and harasses people who like TLOU2. [link] [comments]

Just finished my first playthrough Posted: 24 Jul 2021 06:28 PM PDT This game is probably ranking in my top 2 favorite game series. The ending to part one left me a anting to know so much more, and the beginning to part two answers all the questions I had perfectly. Abbys journey was so much fun and so interesting. I'm still sorta on Ellie's side but, I don't dislike Abby as much as most people do. She puts the other side of the story so well I felt bad when I went into the operation room to her dead dad. Seeing Joel go so early wasn't the best part but it sets the whole game in motion so I understand why they did it. The ending gave me chills. It's so ominous so it gives me hope for a part 3. It kinda saddened me to not be able to see Dina and Ellie reunite with Potato (JJ) Overall it was an awesome and immerseful experience. I'm exited to see what naughty dog has for us. Until then, I'm probably gonna replay this a couple times. What are your thoughts? [link] [comments]

Thoughts on Abby after 2nd playthrough Posted: 24 Jul 2021 03:16 PM PDT Hey guys! So I finished my second playthrough today on survival difficulty and I want to share my thoughts. When I completed the game a year ago I was really Ellie fan, I wanted Abby to lose. However, this time around I really loved Abby's story, her half of the game and I really like her character. Maybe this is intentional from devs to give her better part of the game? To be honest she really had much interesting locations and intentions to go forward. But actually it somehow fits together as a whole game really well. I would love to see her in the third game as a playable char. And see what will happen to her story line. Do you guys agree with me? Tell me your thought about it. [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Jul 2021 06:32 PM PDT Nothing huge but I wish we could've seen the space needle closer and more. I know it would be cliche and expected from anything set in Seattle but it would have been an awesome set piece. I remember thinking it was so cool to be on the Space Needle in Infamous Second Son so seeing it all broken down in this world would've been sick Also having a map longer than just day one with Ellie (maybe I'm just blind and missed it) [link] [comments]

[SPOILERS] (TLOU1&2) Won’t lie; I played The Second before I played the first. Posted: 24 Jul 2021 06:09 PM PDT I only started playing The Last Of Us 2 when I saw Jacksepticeye play it on his YouTube Channel, I had never played the first one, in fact.. I had never even heard of the series in all honesty. I really did enjoy the 2nd game, so I went to play the first which was also pretty amazing. After playing the first game I immediately went back to do another play through of the second and honestly it was amazing just how much the story from the first game links to the second, like the tales you hear Ellie talk about in the second game are things that happened in the 1st and there's little references too but what really hit me the most was this: Playing the second game first wasnt as good because I never developed any attachment to the characters and I didn't know any of their stories. Playing the first one made me realise a hell of a lot more about Joel, Ellie and Tommy's relationship like how Joel and Ellie slowly grew on each other and trusted one another, how (atleast to me) Joel and Tommy didn't seem very good friends at first but they grew on each other clearly, also, in the first game Ellie says that she's scared of being alone and that's more or less how the story ends for her. It's insane just how much they managed to link the first game to the second and playing the second game, then playing the first game and then the second game again just shows how much I missed but also how wrong I was about some characters. Posted: 24 Jul 2021 04:29 PM PDT I mean, the jump from TLOU1 to TLOU2 was insanely huge graphically, mechanically, and obviously technically as well. The physics in TLOU2 are vastly superior to the original's, the AI, the variety of stealth and combat options, and the animations all flat out blow the original game out of the water. I don't care about them changing the story, though I wouldn't mind if some narrative aspects were more thoroughly explored. However, my big deal is the jump in technology. The PS5 isn't just more powerful but capable of design options that just weren't possible on PS3 thanks to the SSD. Seamless transitions in a game as cinematic, in-your-face, unadulteratedly violent and bombastic as TLOU seriously gets me giddy to think about. My only request that I'm not sure will be worked on (meaning I won't get my hopes up but you never know) would be to make AI companions even more important to the gameplay. I'm not talking Ico & Yorda type level, but companions should have a very strong presence everywhere they are with you. I know this might seem like a poor example, but kind of like Ashley in Resident Evil 4. Yeah she's annoying but the point is that she felt real because we had to protect her and she always listened to your commands. So if Joel is hiding, so should Ellie/Tess/Bill or whoever. If they get caught, then we're fucked and have to engage in combat. We should be able to command them in a way, but also they should be capable enough to handle their own without seeming OP but also without being a hindrance to gameplay. The world of TLOU at it's core highlights life at the center of an apocalypse, even if it's annoying I still want the weight of another human life to be on my shoulders in a way if they are traveling with us. But again that's just me, and if possible I would love an option for the companion AI to be like how they were in TLOU2 where they didn't matter too much during gameplay. [link] [comments]

Posted: 24 Jul 2021 10:58 PM PDT If Abby returns after the events of TLOU pt2 would she be able to build up her physique again? She took advantage of the resources and equipment at Seattle but now it appears she's on the run to find the Fireflies who may or may not exist. More than likely they are a skeleton crew running on minimal supplies. This might be the end of buff Abby :(( [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Jul 2021 07:03 PM PDT I remember why I got The Last of Us. It was because of the first five minutes. That's all I watched and I went and bought the game. It's opening is so strong, so effective, so beautifully crafted, it's just incredible. It is without a doubt the best opening to anything I have ever seen in my entire life. I have watched countless movies, television shows, played many games and read hundreds of books, but nothing will even come close to the glorious, breathtaking, heart-pounding intro to Naughty Dog's masterpiece. The way you are thrown into to the chaos of the apocalypse is beautiful. It's pure anarchy and panic, and gets you so invested. I love zombie stories, but being able to see the hysteria of the outbreak is my favorite part, and The Last of Us truly does it best. That is why I am so excited and pumped for this show. They have a very great opportunity here to show more of that wonderful opening sequence. To show more of the world descending into oblivion. They also can make the opening a whole lot more intense, as it is live action of course. I believe this show will succeed and be done very well, and I cannot wait to watch with my family and friends! Thank you for listening, and let me know what you think! [link] [comments]
My worst nightmare just happened - Grounded mode boss fight Posted: 24 Jul 2021 09:48 PM PDT Geez I knew it was gonna be brutal, but nothing at this level. The theater fight against Ellie was no joke in grounded mode. I didn't expect to be so hopeless against her in the last part of the fight. I mean, nothing works and she dodged every single fricking thing I toss at her. She moved so quickly that I cannot keep up. At the end I was about to rage quit and decided to give myself just a few more tries at the mercy of the RNG. I got lucky. I hope the hardest part is behind me now. Hopefully no more bottlenecks like this in SB. [link] [comments] |
