    Just saw a post on here quoting Neil saying Joel would never have sought revenge for Sarah and it got me thinking. Obviously through the first game he barely even acknowledges his past, Tess, tells Ellie not to talk about Henry and Sam. Joel's response to trauma is to shut it down, not think about the past at all. Of course by the end of the game he lets that go.

    Ellie is the exact opposite in part 2: she's OBSESSED with the past. She's stuck in it, unable to stop thinking about.

    Idk I just find this super interesting, the duality of dealing with a similar traumatic event. Well done Neil :)
