The Last of Us | Ellie and Nora cosplay |
- Ellie and Nora cosplay
- Characters have fingerprints
- Maybe Abby had a point after all
- My partner got me Joel’s jacket for my cake day. I didn’t even know they made these. So cool! Does anybody else have these bits of gear?
- I got my dad into video games and after playing through quite a few in the last 5 years (god of war, uncharted, red dead) he thinks that the last of us 1 and 2 are masterpieces and are his new favourite games
- Ok hmm...enjoy I guess.
- My uncle that helped raise me from a young age, and who I consider to be the dad I never had, asked me the same question the day he helped move me in to college. And I had the same response :)
- 1 shot = 4 kills
- Tlou hangover
- Create a Clever Punchline for the Scars for That One Specific Scene....
- Anyone know when we'll get more news on the board game? I haven't heard anything since it was announced in September
- Not meant to circle jerk or anything but a YouTuber I like hated the game and loved it at the end. This was before it won goty so that's why he talks about it possibly winning.
- The Last of Us Part II - Playing Hillcrest Aggressively. (Gets interesting around 30 seconds in)
- Made a shirt for the UEC or “mirror building” that was a small part of Tlou.
- Grounded: done. Next goal: Platinum. God I can't get enough of this game.
- Favourite Side Character?
- My opinion on the last of us 2
- I made a 5e Compatible shambler in DDB for the tabletop players
- Joel in TLOU2

Posted: 14 Apr 2021 10:37 AM PDT He love the last of us games and we've had many discussions about them. When he finished the first one I was in another room and I could hear him yell noo as he killed the doctors and witnessed the final cutscene and I also heard him say "is that it". He thought it was incredible and actually apologised to me saying he was sorry for doubting the impact that video games can have on storytelling. So when I told him that the last of us 2 was coming out soon he was even more excited. And after his 30 hour play through he was stunned. He said that he hadn't had an experience like it before and was incredibly impressed at Both the dual narratives, how the MCs never acted how the player wanted, and was even more blown away by the ending. He would talk about it for days about how clever it was. In conclusion the last of us 2 is my dads new favourite video game. [link] [comments]

Posted: 14 Apr 2021 06:25 PM PDT The last of us and last of us 2 were so good that now I've got a bit of a hangover from not playing it.... does anyone else feel this way too? I'm trying to find another game to start playing but nothing comes even close to Tlou. Been listening to the tlou soundtrack on repeat, it's just so good and now I'm sad that there's nothing else that can take me to that happy place when I was playing Tlou. What a great story and experience. [link] [comments]
Create a Clever Punchline for the Scars for That One Specific Scene.... Posted: 14 Apr 2021 10:37 PM PDT Anyone able to come up with a clever zinger/one-liner for the Scars to say after they kill the Wolves at the TV news station? I'll start... "Breaking news...a pack of wolves were hunted down like dogs!!!" "This execution is sponsored by our Prophet" Aaaand GO!!! [link] [comments]

My opinion on the last of us 2 Posted: 14 Apr 2021 02:24 PM PDT First of all the story: this is complicated for me because after reading tons about the game I went in thinking i was going to hate the game and by the time it was over I didn't know what to think but looking back it was good I was blinded by the hate the game had received and now have formed an opinion. Now the story I liked mostly but there were a few things that were off for me, and no I don't hate the fact they killed Joel it was bound to happen eventually especially after the atrocities he committed in part 1 I kind of expected it but not in the first few hours and now I'll talk about Abby first of all I didn't like her but I also didn't dislike her I can somewhat empathise with here that Joel killed her father but then again Joel is one of my personal favourite gaming characters and it annoyed me at the time to see him killed in such a brutal way but deserved at the same time looking back at all the terrible things he's done as quoted in part 1 by Joel "no matter how hard you try I guess you can't escape your past". I'm not going to give this game a numbered rating as I don't think a single number would justify this experience as a whole as it's the most emotional piece of media I have ever consumed and I don't say that lightly (I'm looking at you dark souls and nier automata) as for Ellie my opinion on her hasn't changed much she still is one of my favourite characters in gaming but in the end she did in fact get her revenge not necessarily by killing Abby herself but by killing all her friends and love interest, Owen which is enough to emotionally scar anyone for the rest of their life as Abby did to Ellie buy killing Joel. Ellie killing Abby wouldn't of added anything to the story as a whole, she still would of returned to the farm with Dina gone and the fire flys would still in theory be regrouping therefore killing Abby would of been pointless as she's already lost everything at this point except lev (which is a character I found to be really interesting). I don't have much more to say about the story other than it was a roller coaster of emotions. Gameplay: wow I have to give credit where credit is due from the very beginning to the end I enjoyed every single combat encounter there was it's just amazing it left me speechless how brutal it was and I just can't say anymore other than well done naughty dog you outdone it with the combat and gameplay overall Closing thoughts: for me personally I really liked it I don't know where I'd put it in a top 10 or top 5 as I said putting it on a list or giving it a meta critic score doesn't add up for the amount of emotion I had felt during this harrowing journey. Fav characters Ellie, lev, Tommy, joel, Ps no matter what your opinion on this game is I respect it as a whole and I'm happy to read it in the comments just be kind and respect each other :) [link] [comments]

Posted: 14 Apr 2021 11:17 AM PDT So maybe I'm in the minority feeling that Joel's death was somewhat justified, not saying he deserved to be beaten to death with a golf club, but he wasn't exactly the hero. He stops the fireflies from making a cure that can save humanity so he can feel like a dad again. He also killed alot of people in the first game, even if you play stealth there are still so many scenes where you have to kill and it's not a choice to just move past. The torture scene also comes to mind where he snapped a guys neck and beat the other to death with a pipe in a similar fashion he would find himself in later. It was a very powerful scene and the dread of knowing it was coming while I was playing Abby was alot but I'm extremely glad that ND didn't make me do a button prompt to end Joel because I was sweating during the scene expecting it to happen once I walked in with Ellie. I know I still have alot of the game left but I'm still looking forward to it even with what just happened. I hope the rest of the ride is just as powerful as the beginning has been for me.
