    Hey guys. I’ve always found the music in The Last of Us was amazing, especially the ones performed by the characters. So much so that it inspired me to learn a few of them.     I am replaying the game for the second time. Enjoying it even more I think, mostly because of catching on all the things I missed on the first go.

    One encounter cought my attention the most. It happens in the Halloween store on Day 1. Of course it is an obvious Left Behind reference, but I think ND sneaked more to it. It was Ellie's response to Dina.

    Dina: 'Some of this stuff is funny looking' Ellie: 'I'm not a fan'

    The way the line is delivered and the lack of interaction in the store despite stuff in it (though there was plenty in LB)... It seems like ND is subtlety showing Ellie is still traumatized after that night in the supermarket and the store reminds her of Riley. And this nicely connects to the main theme of the game too.

    Might be wrong, but knowing ND I would not be surprised they thought about this.
