I got the images aligned and started on a Joel watch face. Even though some of the fonts don't match the original yet

Been playing my play throughs on Easy and very aggressively. I call it “Beast Mode”

    Posted: 27 Mar 2020 10:07 PM PDT

I know the idea is to challenge yourself until you do grounded or survivor, but as a veteran TLOU player playing on Easy is really fun 🤷🏾‍♀️

You're littered with ammo and supplies so you're pretty much OP with all the stuff you have going through the game. It's a little painful to see crafting items go to waste bc your inventory is full most of the time if you're a collector. Just something to do if you want a break from failing grounded too much or just want to get through the game in a day/ day and a half.

TLOU2 - Will it run decent on normal ps4?

    Posted: 27 Mar 2020 08:25 PM PDT

Ok so finished the original game again recently and noticed that my PS4 (regular, NOT pro) sometimes struggled and sounded like an airplane taking off through most of the game. Noticed some ocasional FPS drops and the like.

How the hell is the new game going to run on the PS4? The graphics look stunning, no idea what kind of compromises they are making to run it smoothly on 7 year old hardware.

Will it be worth playing or just frustrating? Is the PS4 pro a must for the game? Don't want to play at like 50% you know

How exactly is ND finishing this game if QA testers might not be at the office?

    Posted: 27 Mar 2020 07:16 PM PDT

A QA testers job is playing the game and finding bugs. Apparently, big companies hire dozens of testers towards the end of development.

    From Jason's article

There was concern among the staff that if they had to ship in February, The Last of Us Part 2 would be a mess. Those three months would make a huge difference.

The game releases in about 2 months. That's around 1 month of development time on the disc, and another month for a day 1 patch. This amount of time for bug fixing is HUGE. I think Cali ordered all nonessential businesses to close about 2 weeks ago. Santa Monica isn't hugely affected by the virus atm when it comes to numbers, but I think they closed a bunch of nonessential places. If I'm wrong on that then please correct me. I read somewhere that most of ND are working remotely. If anyone has a source on that (which apparently came from a forum) then post it. Assuming QA testers aren't at the office, how is this game getting finished with there needing to be a lot of bug fixing? If there are some people still working, then they have to be the QA testers I would think? There's no way ND would trust QA testers to work at home since someone would leak it.

Any advice for giving grounded a go for the first time?

    Posted: 27 Mar 2020 07:13 PM PDT

I've beaten the game twice now on normal both times last month, and now I'm ready to give grounded a try for the trophies. I've already noticed bullets are crazy hard to find, is there anything else I should be looking out for or avoiding to make it easier?
