    Tips for struggling players

    This is a list of tips for players who are struggling.

    When facing a pack of clickers, plan accordingly. In order to stealth kill a clicker, you need a shiv. A clicker can also be killed by a bow to the head, or a bomb/Molotov without you getting spotted. It's also worth noting that clickers can instantly kill you if you get to close, you can avoid this by buying "shiv master" for 75 pills. You must have a shiv to use this.

    There are only 4 bloaters in the game. They can be killed very easily, as they are very weak to fire. However, the hardest bloater to kill is the very first one you face, as you do not have the flame thrower, and your only source of fire is molotovs. Bloaters can also insta kill you no matter what if they grab you, so fight at a distance

    Humans are very weak to fire, as fire instantly kills all enemy's except for bloaters. So save up all flamethrower ammo for when you need it, mainly for the hospital, as you will face a lot of enemies

    When facing the sniper, use smoke bombs, as the sniper will not shoot through it. This will give you lots of time to switch cover. Use sparingly, though

    In harder difficultys, ammo will be harder to find, so ALWAYS GO FOR THE HEAD IF YOU KNOW YOU CAN HIT IT! don't waist ammo trying to only shoot the head. Arrows can sometimes be picked up after firing them, so use them for stealth.

    After grabbing a human, if there are other humans, they will not fire at you, giving you plenty of time to kill them with a headshot. Note that the person can escape your grasp, so kill the enemies fast, then kill the hostage.

    Which section of the story do you dread each playthrough?

    This is not to say the section was bad, by dread i mean you found the section tough or challenging, perhaps more on the harder difficulty?

    For me it's probably Pittsburgh as a whole or the tunnels at the end of the game with the bloaters and clickers, i always struggle to remain undetected.
