    Part II Theory - Tajae (YouTuber) made an interesting theory recently that the people pinning Ellie down in the release date trailer could be from within the camp. They could be Fireflies seeking revenge or homophobic. We see Ellie, Dina and Jessie leave camp on patrol with three other men.

    Anyone Else Catch An Interesting Hint/Spoiler At The Beginning Of The Dog Scent Trail Scene?

    If you watch the Gamescon 2020 trailer, about a minute in, when Ellie is spotted by the dog, the dialogue from the enemies goes like this:

    Male Enemy: "You think this guy's connected to the girl from the school?"

    Female Enemy: "I'd be a helluva coincidence if they weren't."

    Later...

    Female Enemy: "Hey, we got another trespasser. A girl. Did you see her?"

    Male Enemy: "No. But the fucking guy is nearby."

    Female Enemy: "Shit."

    Male Enemy, to other allies around: "We're looking for TWO!"

    We already know that Joel is going to support Ellie during this grassy neighborhood scent trail section from the "You think I'd let you do this on your own?" trailer but I think what's MOST interesting is that first line "do you think this guy's connected to the girl from the school?" That might be a huge hint that Dina is NOT dead or injured and is a playable character doing her own part of the mission or a non playable character supporting Ellie as well.

    It could also be that Dina is a direct support during the grassy neighborhood section and when they say they're looking for "two" it's Joel and Dina and they actually haven't spotted Ellie yet.

    Just musings.

    Watching the reveal trailer for the millionth time and I'm surprised nobody is talking about this anymore. Do you think we might fight (non-infected) bears in Part II?
