This detail in Joel’s house really makes him a great father. He had a special place for both of his baby girls! Happy Father’s Day!

This movie just ripped off the clicker design. Wtf lol. Well I hope TLOU HBO show blows these prosthetics out of the water.

Public (and self) Reminder on playing games at higher difficulties

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 06:14 PM PDT

No one will blame you for playing a game at lower difficulties just to have a good time, as it's far more important to have an enjoyable time than to have points and fame (unless that's what makes you happy)

Don't be afraid to take multiple rounds to get everything.

Don't be afraid to split your permadeath, grounded, and explorer rounds.

Happy playing, endure and survive, and may your survival be long.

The last of us 2 got too much hate

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 09:00 PM PDT

Look I get people were upset that Joel was killed but TLOU 2 was a phenomenal game. I don't think I've ever played a game so intense it literally felt like a movie. And playing as abbey was LOADS of fun. She just had a broader storyline. Ellie was just exploring large bodies of land. At the end of the day it still is just a game. People got way too attached to video game characters. My god relax. Be realistic with all the people Ellie & Joel killed it was bound to catch back up with them eventually.

A gorgeous reminder of what's become my favorite game of all time. Worth every penny to me. Happy TLOU anniversary month!

Small detail about the theater fight

    Posted: 20 Jun 2021 09:45 PM PDT

In the theater fight, Abby survives Dina's knife attack courtesy an arrow to Dina's shoulder by Lev. Abby then picks up the knife that Dina drops and almost kills her, but decides to spare her and Ellie. I first thought Abby drops the knife when she tosses Dina's unconscious body aside, but she doesn't. She's still holding Dina's knife in her right hand when she exits the theater with Lev.

When we next play as Abby in Santa Barbara, the knife isn't in her inventory as far as I can tell. I thought it would be cool if she'd retained it. Given that she lost her equipment and her backpack on the Seraphite island, it would be a useful melee addition. Ellie gains access to the silenced SMG, it would be nice for Abby to gain access to this and no longer need to craft disposable shivs, making it analogous to Ellie's switchblade. There were only a handful of runners and clickers to get through though.
