    The obvious one is of Ellie loosing control over Owen & Mel but I also noticed this in other scenes on my 3rd playthrough.

    It kinda shows how good of a person Ellie is. For example when Dina reveals she's pregnant and says "I didn't want to be a burden" to which Ellie replies "Well you're a burden now!" Which was obviously very rude and Dina's reaction said it all. Ellie then goes to sleep wakes up the next day and apologizes to Dina for being rude. "Last night was... very stupid"

    And when Jesse insist Ellie come with him to rescue Tommy to which Ellie says "If you get in trouble, I won't save you again" which kinda shocks Jesse to hear that. Yet in the theatre Ellie thanks him for coming back for her and basically apologizes.

    And then the Joel scene. She acts so rudely to him in front of everyone in the party by basically saying he shouldn't interfere in her life. And the second Joel leaves, she realizes how awful that was and immediately leaves the party to go back to Joel. She mentions this at the start of the game when she apologizes to Dina for running off to obviously go and talk to Joel.

    All of this shows she is a genuinely good person but does and says stupid shit out of anger/adrenaline.

    Why am I saying all this? Because it indirectly ties to the way she made Nora talk and then went and killed Owen & Mel. All 3 of those deaths could have been avoided if they just said something that would make Ellie feel sorry instead of riling her up. For example if Owen revealed Mel's pregnant and if Nora... Well if she didn't call Joel a bitch and then said "I'm not giving up my friend". Ellie probably wouldn't have even hurt them let alone kill, even if it meant not getting Abby's location.

    And then the scenes of her crying & trembling in the theatre or getting sick to the stomach in the aquarium is the anger and adrenaline wearing off and the realization of what she just did kicking in. Only difference, apologizing isn't gonna do anything now.

    It takes so much realism out of the experience. I get it, it's not for the characters, they don't actually have it since it's a gameplay feature, just like how they don't see button prompts, etc. But it still breaks the immersion for me and I'm so glad Part II got an update with the option to turn it off.

    Ellie’s Dream and The Last Of Us Part 3

    This is more of a prediction than anything, but I think Ellie's dream of going to space will come to fruition somehow in Part 3. They established that the Fireflies have regrouped, and their goal of "restoring humanity" is most likely still on the table. I won't try to predict the whole story at this point, but the only way I see them merging the two is if Ellie's 'immunity' is spread globally via an airborne method. Why she herself would be on the rocket I haven't speculated, but that's just one way I see them taking the story if it continues.

    Okay so I'm fresh off the beauty that is TLOU2 where even on Grounded enemies will go down after a couple hits with melee weapon a/o pistol. But in the first game, I'm playing ON EASY and these things won't go down after multiple hits with melee weapon OR pistol! What the heck!
