Arrived today!
I'm embarrassed to say that I finished playing the game when it first came out, played the second one and only now while I'm replaying the first one do I find a letter from Ellie's mom. Did anyone else miss this?

Finally completed the entire series and it’s definitely one if my favorite games of all time, wish i could forget about it and do it all over again :)
