    Some Youtuber has started uploading previously unseen footage of the game (from an old test build apparently). Nothing massive and only 2 short clips so far, but one of them possibly spoils (or at least gives a good clue about) how the story is structured, as well as some other character information.

    I won't link them because I know this is a spoiler free place, this is just a heads up for those who want to go into full spoiler lockdown now.

    I got this 2 days ago, literally a day before the delay announcement. Apparently this was the last conversation I needed and I got a pretty nice shot for the platinum. I’m so excited for the game and just like the trophy says, I’m 100% sure this wait “can’t be be for nothing.”

    Some of you may have seen my post the other day about playing this for the first time and how amazed I was after the Ranch scene with Joel and Ellie. A lot of comments welcoming me to the game, and people telling me their own experiences and feelings toward this masterpiece, I was very excited to continue the journey! So I did!

    The whole chapter from Ellie shooting the rabbit, to being rescued by Joel from the burning bar and the DISGUSTING David, was some of the best gameplay and story telling I've ever seen.

    Afterwards, you can tell how much Joel cares for her, is thankful for her and cherishes her. His demeanour to her changes, he's light hearted, laid back, funny, sweet and just generally a lot kinder. The character development and progression in this game is like nothing I've ever witnessed. 10/10. I'm currently up to the part where they see the Giraffes and enter the Lab.

    I'm so so glad I picked this game up, my favourite of all time is God of War, and this is now my 2nd. Couldn't be happier! To everyone who told me I was in for some great stuff, thank you. I'm proud to join this wonderful community. Can't wait for TLOU2!!

    Hi all, I just wanted to get some opinions on what everyone thinks regarding the developments that have occurred the last couple of days.

    Gutted about the delay like everyone, Twitter and YT is going crazy for these new clips of gameplay with one being spoilery imo... if these leaks continue... would ND/Sony be forced to go with a digital release? Like this could be the start of loads of leaks, I pre-ordered the collectors but screw waiting for physical if spoilers come out, I'll buy digital too.

    It would suck for those who can't go digital but can you imagine how bad it would be for everyone if more spoilers/leaks continue?

    Here's hoping it was a minor incident and we'll still get the game in the next few months 🤞🏻

    At this point, the release of Part 2 seems so elusive and not even real. We have all been waiting so long and have been met with so much unfortunate news that we will have to wait even longer again and again. But be damned, all of this turmoil will pass and when it finally does we will get to play one of the most universally anticipated sequels to a game of all time.

    Take this time now to get all of your stupid check list bullshit out of the way. Play Animal Crossing, play older games you never trophy hunted beforehand, learn a new skill, indulge in a hobby, clean your home, clean up your life in a general sense - and when this is all said and done we will finally get what we've been waiting for and so much more. This game, for all of us who adore it's predecessor, will blow us away all over again and there is some sort of proverb that says "distance makes the heart grow fonder" so in a chronological sense it will only embellish and better the final product.

    We're all going to be okay. You're not going to die before you get to play the game (for all of the doomsdayers and skeptics) and this will be nothing but a hard test of patience.

    We should just look forward to the day we get to celebrate this game when it finally releases.

    I think mine is definitely Summer, it has some of my favorite moments in the game, and it's the most memorable in my opinion.

    Ellie Edition Preorder cancelled by Amazon!?

    I fought tooth and nail to preorder it after restock and received first and email that mentioned a change in the delivery date to 2021 and then a second one saying it has been cancelled.

    Whereas the CE is still showing that it is preordered.

    Is Amazon cancelling all types of CE/EE preorders?

    it will be really disappointing if after they virus is under control they still decide to have a multiple months of ramp up for marketing. as much as i would like for it to not happen, i could see sony not fast tracking this once it's over.

    Sony are a business and they want to make money. No matter how you try to spin you, you're uninformed and don't run the business. They have the data to support the fact that a lack of physical copies would hurt sales. Even Microsoft has this data and they literally just delayed Wasteland 3 & Minecraft Dungeons. There's no other option here.

    I'm going to share what I saw someone say earlier and I hope it sets some of you straight: "this is gonna sound like a corporate apologist, but fuck it.

    Are Sony (& companies) being greedy right now? Hell yeah they are.

    At the same time, many companies right now are gonna experience significant loss in revenue/profit across the board as a result of COVID-19. And no, PlayStation being a gaming company that is enjoying increased uptake/player time/etc doesn't change that in an environment where many people are losing their jobs/being laid-off as a result of COVID-19. Even for gaming companies, things will get worse before they get better.

    In a situation like this, a company wanting to make the economically rational decision of wanting to maximise the profitability of a marque product in a time where they are facing huge financial uncertainty is making the right decision. Even more so when the company is among those right now who are supposedly dealing with the crisis in a relatively humane way in employee protection and shit.

    I don't know if ND employee's bonuses are tied to how well their games sell at launch, but if TLOU2 releases in a way that compromises their peak launch sales potential, let's not act like ND wouldn't be affected.

    Am I sad and frustrated that it's delayed? Yes. But I also know that they're making the right decision if they can't get the logistics of their launch right for the original date."

    We get it, you want the game as much as the next guy, but the world is bigger than that and isn't a priority yet. We will all benefit from this in the end. So please take a break from this website and do something productive.
