    I recently beat the game Plague Tale: Innocence, and it gave me very Last of Us vibes. There's a lot of sneaking around in 3rd person and finding stuff to craft with to dispatch enemies. On top of that, the dynamic between the protagonist and her brother made me think a lot of The Last of Us. Just wanted to make a recommendation to you guys during this time. It might be something to keep you sane until part 2 comes out lol

    The comments that say stuff like “there’s a pandemic, there’s more important stuff right now” are ridiculous

    On most posts about people discussing wanting the game, a release date etc, you'll usually see a comment along the lines of "who cares about a video game coming out, this is a global pandemic, you should be worrying about the important stuff" etc. But the thing is, someone taking 20 seconds to type out that they're annoyed a game was delayed doesn't mean literally all they are worried about is the game. They probably are worrying about the big things too- it's just that they happen to be on r/thelastofus so they're going to discuss The Last of Us. More succinctly, just because someone writes a comment online doesn't mean all of their energy is devoted to that one specific thing they're commenting about, so trying to high-road them by saying they should care about more the important stuff is ridiculous.

    If Naughty Dog hypothetically released a new trailer today showing one of the following, which would make you more worried?

    • Ellie wearing Joel's watch

    or

    • Joel carrying Ellie's knife

    I originally asked this in December 2017 and got some interesting responses. Now that some time has passed, we have learned a bit more about the new game, and some new people have joined the subreddit, I think it is worth it to have this discussion again.
