Possible Part II reference in Left Behind? Posted: 21 Nov 2019 04:11 AM PST When Ellie is 'playing' The arcade machine one of the moves that Riley calls out is "Seraphim Strike!" A Seraphim or Seraph is a type of Angel from Abrahmic theology. It could be just a reference to the fact that the character who Ellie is 'playing' as is called Angel Knives but Seraphim is also where the name of the Seraphites from part II comes from. Neil Druckmann said in an interview recently that he already came up with the plot of part II before he even started making Left Behind and that he actually pitched the plot to Ashley Johnson over dinner at the same time he pitched her the Left Behind plot, so he must have had the idea of the Seraphites in his head while he was making it. What do you think? [link] [comments] |
